Dear CSMS Families,

As I enter my third month as principal of Coral Springs Middle School, I continue to feel proud to serve in this capacity. Although I have been here for six years, each day brings brand new experiences and opportunities that I continue to enjoy. The staff, students, parents and community that are served by Coral Springs Middle are truly a special group.

I would also like to give a special thanks to our teachers, students and parents who assisted us and our guidance personnel for doing an outstanding job with our two weeks of testing.

As we return from spring break, we have a couple of activities that our 8th grade students will be involved in. First, over 300 of our 8th grade students will travel to Busch Gardens for their end of the year trip. After performing so well all year long, they rightly deserve to be rewarded for their effort. The following week we are sending 80 of our 8th graders off to Washington D.C. for a week of historical educational experiences like no other! I attended the trip two years ago and can assure you they will truly benefit from this experience.
