Interview Webquest


The interview is the most important part of the job search process. It is where many people lose their chance of getting a job and where many people secure a job. The key to having successful interviews is to prepare thoroughly for the interview process. If you have a good interview then your odds of getting the job is significantly higher. This webquest will help you learn the basics of having a successful job interview. Use the resources listed below to answer the questions on the worksheet.  

1) A) What Four things should you do Before You Go to the Interview? (Restate question in full sentence answer)

2) The questions that you are asked during an interview are often different from any others that you have answered before. Interview questions are often “open ended”. An open ended question is one that you can answer with any response and there is no right or wrong answer.

3) Another important part of the interview is how you dress for it. It is important to dress nice and present yourself neatly. 4) Once you are out of an interview you are not quite done yet. What should you do after you have finished an interview with an employer? Why?
